Uncharted to be cheaper on Vita

Uncharted Golden Abyss is looking to be awesome and cheap on the PS Vita. The game series has been one of the most exciting, fun and creative experiences I've seen with a series of games that could have been simply pitched as Lara Croft without the boobs or terrible game mechanics.

The boxed version of the Vita will be about $US78 or 5980 Yen and the download will cost $64 or 4900 Yen. However, it was reported in Dengeki Playstation, a very well-established Japanese Games magazine, that the pricing info for another Vita title, Hot Shots Golf 6, had the same discrepency with the boxed version being 1000 Yen more than the download itself...
Also in the same issue, the head of development at Sony, Yoshio Matsumoto, suggested that people who owned the PSP could download their games they owned on UMD...for a special price...a bit douchey, but the own the IP and what can you do.

Anyway, Uncharted will be released in Japan on December 17th and due to the region free coding loveliness that Sony provides, you can get it early and cheap if you want to.

Hey guys, what do you mean with cheaper? 60-70bucks are a lot for young gamers. Especially if you have to pay about 250 euro for the console, bout 50 euro for the memory unit and then the game.
If it would 40 euros or less I could imagine to buy this one, but no way, Vita-Gamers have to be f*ckin rich...

Keeeeep your pants on. Before you go slapping your **** in the faces of the gaming industry, you have to realize it varies by region. Using exchange rates to price games in other regions is meaningless. Anyway, whatever price they charge, just don't buy it. Thats the real problem. People can't withhold pleasure and so the gaming industry charges what they want. Don't buy and the prices go down.

Just freakin' import the game from another Europe country.

Let's say you live in Spain, import the game from UK, it's cheaper and better.

With "Cheaper on Vita" you imply that it will be available on the PS3 also. Is this really the case? I haven't been following.

They mean it's cheaper to download the game to your vita off psn then it is to buy the boxed version at a store.

Well its simple dont buy the games and the price will go down. I wish people would stop buying DLC. If less people purchased it, some way some how the developers would make it fit on the original disk.

one would figure the Vita games would be less than PS3 games. It's logical.

I'll assume it's still going to be 43.16 with tax for a new PSP2 game.
