Are you looking to have a little bit of fun on your new PS Vita?  Well today you are in luck! With the release of the new innovative PS Vita title called Sound Shapes, Sony hopes that you will be the one making the music through their series of platforming levels.

In a sense, this game looks very much inspired by the success of LocoRoco with its beautifully detailed 2D environments that give the game a simplistic feel. The catch however, is that users must use the PS Vita's touchpad to navigate through the series of levels while creating the most lush sounding music possible to rack up points. Aside from the sort of light-hearted point A to B platforming involved in this game, users will also be able to create their own levels with an intense amount of detail. With a whole mess of instruments and sound techniques to experiment with, this is truly an experience that both the game lover and the music lover in all of us can enjoy.

Heralded as the best in show from sites like 1UP, IGN, and Digital Playground, it appears that game experts also believe in Sony's latest attempt to reinvent the music genre. With most music games today focused on physical performance as well as gameplay, Sound Shapes does a service by giving us a game that truly does put the music first. In no time, players will be making full symphonies with their fingers. If what I've told here has sold you, the solution is simple. Stap on your favorite headphones, head to the PSN and download yourself a copy of this game.
