The Ratchet and Clank series has been one of the hallmarks among the PS3 exclusive lineup since the days of the PS2. Essentially what Insomniac has done is here is created a platforming franchise with some very sophisticated weaponry. In a sense, while the game might sometimes look like its for younger audiences, the emphasis on explosives that these games have leaves a little but for the more mature gamer as well. Full Frontal Assault in particular continues a major shift for the brand, but will you be getting it on the Vita?

Originally Full Frontal Assault was meant to launch alongside the PS3 version at the end of November, but delays have left it lagging behind. That being said however, it may just be worth the wait  when you hear about all the fun that this game has to offer. For those that haven't played the title before, there is a real focus on multiplayer matchups that leave you trying to capture your opponents nodes while defending your own. As the matches progress, you'll be able to spend bolts in an effort to beef up your defenses. The good news is, if you've got it for the PS3 already, you'll be able to play on Vita for free thanks to the cross-buy promotion as well.

Still that's not all Insomniac decided to reveal today. There is also a patch coming soon that will fix the games balance issues while adding two possible additional levels to add a little more power to your guns. If that's not enough for you, another fix in January will also add the iconic Metropolis map to the game entirely for free. Will you be playing this on your Vita?

Everyone should buy this. Everyone with a Vita, that is.

So...five people should buy this.
