Monster Hunter - Savior for the PS Vita?

Everybody knows that a Monster Hunter game for the PS Vita would be a smash hit, especially in Japan where the franchise is super popular. There was a (possibly) fake thing going around months ago that hinted at it, and then it was announced that Monster Hunter 4 would be on Nintendo's 3DS, with no mention of the PS Vita anywhere in sight.

If these images are to be believed, Monster Hunter 4 (or whatever version of Monster Hunter they decide to call it) will be making its way to the PS Vita. Sony has to know that putting Monster Hunter on the PS Vita would help them move a buttload of units, so it seems only natural that this kind of thing would happen. Let's hope they announce something soon!

Of course, the images could be fakes, so take it all with a grain of salt.

Would you like Monster Hunter to make its way to the PS Vita? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

In anticipation for this game's release, I keep looking at this article for almost no reason. This 4th or 5th time (idk lol) I noticed icons on the bottom which -judging by the lack of "L" or "R" labels on either end of the little strip of icons- appear to be still and inoperable by the face or shoulder buttons which can only mean TOUCH SCREEN ITEM USAGE!

In light of this, it is more believable that mh savior exists or will exist. Yay!
Otherwise this was a clever faked up photo.

PS. To fraps guy below somewhere: I don't see a fraps water mark. What's it look like?

It's Hunter Blade. It's a MH knockoff made in China. Also check the fraps watermark on the first pic.

I doubt Fraps would be used on a Vita, and the HUD doesn't seem like what would be used in a Monster Hunter game...

I hope Monster Hunter will be on the Vita sometime soon though.

Honestly MH on the Vita is probably the only thing that would actually make me consider buying it. They should just really get a version made and shipped to the US for the PS3

They should do the thing that the Borderlands 2 devs are doing on PS3 and Vita.

Highly doubt they'd change the gameplay and everything about Monster Hunter for the PSVita so it's fake. Also the first image looks exactly like the 2nd image. Which means it was a snapshot, that was uploaded onto the Vita to be viewed as an image only. So thus it'll look like it's being played off of it. But yeah, if there was a monster hunter, they need to start it now because Monster Hunter was the reason the PSP got so far even after it was slowly dieing.

Even if this is true, it is gonna be 1 or 2 years before we see this in the States. Hell we don't even have Monster Hunter 3rd Portable here yet?

At this point, anything short of a FULL kernal hack of the system will not be able to help it right now. A sad truth. The

Vita is simply a side money making venture for Sony. They are cutting their losses and concentrating on the PS3.

A kernal hack would allow for ALL psp games to be played on the system. This would also include PS1 games.

And you know what?
This is how it should've been from the beginning.
