The wait for PS Vita owners hoping to play Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock on their handhelds is almost over.

A recent post to the PlayStation Blog announced that the PS Vita version of Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will finally be available from the PlayStation Store starting on October 9 (
Beyond its upcoming PS Vita availability, the blog post also detailed some new features that Vita owners can look forward to from the game, such as:
- new Vita controls to offer increased functionality between touch-screen and dual-analog sticks
- touch-screen functionality in puzzle games
- integration of Vita’s “near” geo-social service into the gameplay
- support for Vita’s Cloud Save for those who own both the PS3 and Vita versions of the game
