Sony announces new US Vita bundle |

Sometimes certain stories are quite light so I try and mash them together so we have an announcement that Sony has provided a new bundle for the Vita to be released next month, but also a region-free rumour. So let's check them both out.
Sony has taken stock at the Vita's available to the US and said, "Ya know what? We should give'em more" because that's how Americans sound in my head. The "extremely limited" bundle will include an 8GB Memory Card, an AT&T DataConneect Pass and a PSN game for $299 USD. But for those with fifty-one bucks more Sony could give you the First Edition Bundle.
This includes an AT&T DataConnect pass with one free 250MB session and an unknown PSN title upon turning on your 3G. See, that story is pretty light, but what about the shenanigans going on with whether or not the Vita is region free?
A few sites are confirming that the PS Vita is not region free and are claiming that after an altercation between a customer and a Sony representative where they were not able to get a straight answer despite several months of Sony saying that it was. Despite a kind response from Sony (specifically under the moniker of Cheryl T.), a customer was unhappy about being unable to use his US PSN account to play on his Japanese Vita.
Cheryl T. explains that Sony "has implemented a territorial-based distribution system for its hardware, peripherals and software. This means that software or peripherals on a console designated for a different distribution territory than the console may not work correctly," the customer was quite upset and posted the interaction online.

The US PlayStation Store for vita is.
I logged in using my US account and it worked, but i couldn't access the PlayStation Store becuase sony said the US/EU Store won't open till the US/EU release date.

No wait shocked isn't the right term, oh yeah i was doing more expecting than a 10 month old fetus. And anyway why aren't Sony bothering to advertise yet in the UK? The only way the average person is even gonna know it exists is if they walk past a Gamestation and see the display that's taking up the whole front window.
