Ever Win Anything Gaming Related?

Developers and publishers are always running promotional contests, but does anyone ever win one of them? I'll admit it; I'm a sucker for free stuff. Whenever I buy some around-the-house stuff at Home Depot I almost always fill out the survey to try and win the $5000 Home Depot gift card. Hey, the wife wants a new washer and dryer.

As far as gaming-related stuff, I can't resist any chance to get something for almost nothing. I've filled out tons of surveys, questionnaires, and forms trying to get some free downloadable stuff, games, consoles - you name it. And I've even managed to win a few things. I won some free Fallout 3 DLC a few years ago by simply responding to a post on the game's Facebook wall. I got some Dead Space 2 promotional material in the mail for submitting an execution entry. I got the Ice T-voiced Griffin multiplayer character for Gears of War 3 early by participating in the game's Facebook promotion.

And I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting.

Of course, I have a dummy email account that I use as a spam catch-all for all such activity. I can only take so much buzzing from my phone, so I keep that email sacred and away from the prying eyes of video game publishers.

i won a might and magic IV competition in virgin mega stores (before they all closed obviously), bizarly the prize was 2 assains creed tops and a promo copy of blazing angels for ps3, but was good fun the rep who was hosting kinda let me have an extra go because they people who had got the fastest time where in a big group so had an advantage of seeing all their friends play first so they knew exactly where to go was perry easy to beat there time second time around

I got DriverCleaner, a Steam key for All Orks Must Die and a code to download Back to Karkand.

I won a promo Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 10 foot banner from their Facebook page. It's still sitting in the box it came in cause it's taking up more room than I have in my room. hahaha

I won some of the stuff Toonami had back in the day when it was on(Sly Cooper, NDS, etc.)

I won me a Sega dreamcast from the radio station power 106 (aka 105.9 fm for LA residents) years back right before I left to school. I was late because I kept calling till the phone rang and they answered but it was all worth it.
Only thing I've ever won but I loved that damn thing.
Never pirated anything for it either, not saying I wouldn't have, just that I happened not to. (just being honest)

I was at this Gamesmaster expo back in the early 90's, they had a Sega bus filled with Megadrives running Sonic 2.
The person who got the furthest through the game in 5 minutes won a Sega baseball cap, a poster and a Golden Axe t shirt. I won, got back in line and won again.

I won on some website contest can't remember what site, The Bat Man Arkham Asylum Collector'a Edition.. The one with that came with the Bat-a-rang replica..
I entered it, forgot about it and then I come home from work one day and a big ass box is waiting for me on the dinning room table. It was a great surprise.
