PoV: eShop is worth the wait |

The Nintendo 3DS eShop is releasing at the end of May, and even though it should have been available at launch, it's worth the wait.
With the eShop, Nintendo is completely revamping their online shop presence. As shown in the video above, the eShop is very streamlined in comparison to the Wii Shop Channel and DSi Shop Channel.
Many great services will be available, including Virtual Console, 3D Classics, and 3DSWare. Confirmed Virtual Console systems supported so far are Gameboy, Gameboy Color, GameGear, and Turbo Grafx 16. As with the Wii Virtual Console, future systems may be added, such as Gameboy Advance and Bandai Wonderswan. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and Super Mario Land will be available for download on day one.
3D Classics will surely be a hit. With 3D Classics, Nintendo and other people are able to rework classic, 8bit and 16bit games with stereoscopic 3D. A 3D Classics version of Excitebike will be available for free when the eShop launches.
With a higher file size limit, 3DSWare will thrive. There have been some great games on WiiWare and DSiWare, including World of Goo and Shantae: Risky's Revenge, so it will be exciting to see what Nintendo and third parties do with the service.
