VS: The iPhone 5 isn’t Exactly What it Should Be

Is the iPhone 5 exactly as it should be, or should it be more?

My man Todd B. recently posted an article saying how the “iPhone 5 is everything it should be.” While he certainly made some good points, and I’m not gonna take a crap on Apple since they’re obviously doing something right, the iPhone 5 does have some room for improvement.

Sure, you’ll have a hell of a time convincing Apple fans that their beloved iPhone 5 (or 4, or 4S, or whatever) is not the best phone around, but what about those on the outside? What about the folks looking for the top smartphone around? Is the iPhone 5 really as good as it gets, or does the virtual gleam off the Apple logo overwhelm those who don’t know any better into picking it up?

Here are some ways in which the iPhone 5 could be better:

offer a 128GB version for music fanatics
SD card support to hold even more content
an easily replaceable battery for the average user
even more battery life to accommodate power users, 4G LTE, etc. See the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx as an example.
a better texting alternative, such as Android’s Swype
allow for regular USB ports and cables – enough with this proprietary dock connection BS and adapters. (Yes, I know they wanna make money, but come on!)
an even bigger display – Why not?

So, as you can see, while the iPhone 5 certainly has its strong points, there are ways in which it could be even better.

That’s how I see it at least.

SD card support to hold even more content
-No way in hell, how would they get people to buy the even more overly priced upper tier model

An easily replaceable battery for the average user
- Then how would they get you to pay them for repairs when the battery gets to where it only holds a half-hour charge

a better texting alternative, such as Android’s Swype
- They're too cheap too pay for the royalties.

allow for regular USB ports and cables
- The whole reason they changed it for the iP5 was so that you would have to rebuy everything

an even bigger display – Why not?
- They actually had a really good reason for not making it larger sooner, its the perfect size for texting with one hand.

Did this article really even need to exist? I mean Christ these are questions you know the answer to as soon as you ask them. If you want a phone with these features then get an Android phone, the only things you will miss are Siri, Facetime and a shitload of crap-apps.

used iphone 3 for years n now im using android phone...i ve to say i like android phone way better dan iphone.( just my personal experience)

It's not about what Apple is going to implement, but what Apple COULD implement. I agree with this, Apple is just being greedy right now. iPhone is still pretty awesome though, at least when jailbroken. I might switch to Android, but there are so many stuff I got from jailbreaking, I wanna make sure I can get them all.
