Lottay recently surveyed up to see what folks want for
Christmas and they got quite a few interesting results - topping their respondents' wishlists are: love, travel, cash gifts, and the
Nintendo Wii. It seems that Wii love hasn't waned just yet, with twice as many people want a Wii over a PS3 and an Xbox 360 combined.

OFLC
Australians are tired of getting the short end of the gaming stick. The
lack of an R18+ rating on the
OFLC means
that games with mature or adult content can easily be refused
classification and subsequently banned. They're not taking that lying
down. In fact, gamers Down Under are planning to march and hold a rally
demanding the implementation of an R18+ rating.

In case you found
Monopoly: Here & Now: The World a little too removed from the Monopoly fun, EA and
Hasbro have now added another Monopoly title into the
App Store. This time, it won't be carrying a needlessly long name - it will simply be called
Monopoly, and you can enjoy it frills-free just as you did in the board game.

When it comes to getting the inside scoop on the latest in gaming, few
can compare to the knowledge that Famitsu brings. Apparently, the
Japanese gaming mag has gotten so big that it went from getting inside
scoops to getting inside the game. If knowledge is power, then
Phantasy Star Portable 2
gives a whole new meaning to arming yourself with knowledge - the game
will allow you to arm yourself with the power of the Famitsu Shield.
