Minecraft 1.8 Video shows off new features

It's hard to hide how much I love Minecraft and from comments I know people are sick of me talking about it, so here is Notch with pretty much everything that will be in the next Mincecraft update.

Notch outlines all the new features in this video someone took from PAX with him giving a nice little live commentary on the whole dealy. For those of you who don't have the bandwidth or simply just want to find out how I can somehow fill this page with 150 words...here are some of the...

NEW FEATURES SEEN IN THE VIDEO:

Brightness setting
Sprinting (bumping into spiders or animals can send them back)
New cross bow that you can properly aim and propel
New Creative mode (including flying and unsubstantiated creativity)
Rivers as apart of the water and Randomly Generated Worlds
RPG elements (such as collecting items for quests and experience points)
New graphics and animations for some creatures
New music by C418
ENDERMAN....who can teleport
steal blocks
and destroy your ability to sleep...
And finally watermelons...yeah...we gets some watermelons and it's gonna be totes cash.

Super excited for the game to come out of Beta and for everything to really come together over the next few months. November is going to be insane.

The 1.8 update, that I recently downloaded from the Minecraft website, appeared to work at first. I was excited to have a bunch of new updated features, like abandoned strongholds. However, after a "new world" loaded, the screen went black. I've gone to Youtube for help, but this problem is not yet solved. Until the next update, which hopefully will fix this problem, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY MINECRAFT!

Also, the update is great despite the not-playing-the-game part.
