If you don't like the Trine series, well, that's fine, but if you have never checked it out before, ignore those people and go take a look!
Trine is a side scrolling RPG adventure game for the PC that hit the scene in 2009. Since then, Trine for the PC has had a few DLC's released on steam and other download platforms.
Trine 2 is set to be released by Frozenbyte and published by Focus Home interactive in December 2011.
Trine 2 features the powerful Knight Pontius, the thief Zoya and the Crafty (and somewhat crazy) wizard Amadeus.
- You can play the game in solo or multiplayer co-op online
- Co-op is also supported offline
- Your three heroes take on new adventures in a traditional, side-scrolling adventure style game
- Solve physics-based puzzles and unravel the mystery
Trine 2 has updated visuals from Trine and from the screenshots that are currently available you can really tell how much better the game looks visually.

An updated and original soundtrack will also be included with Trine 2, but the game stays true to the old-school platform based RPG feel that helped lead the way for the genre.
- The collectors edition will include:
- A full copy of the first Trine.
- Artbook commentated on by developers from Frozenbyte.
- A game soundtrack by Ari Pulkinnen (Angry Birds outland).
Trine 2 will be available in Europe in December 2011 for PC and Mac, in online and retail stores.

What series? There's been more then one game released so far?
Anywho, the first game kicked major butt! Especially playing it in 3D.
