Rochard is an original space adventure game that allows you to play as a hero with a very versatile gravity gun.

Rochard incorporates 'ominous villains, rugged machinery, big explosions and sharp one-liners'.

You progress through the games story as an astro-miner (John Rochard) whose team discovers an ancient structure that has been hidden (until now) within an asteroid.

Unfortunately for John, the team goes missing, space pirates attack the mine and there are some mysterious forces at work in the structure. John has his work cut out for him.

It was released as a PSN exclusive title in September 2011 and will now be making its way to the PC before the end of the month.

The game is very similar to the Valve developed Portal series where you are required to solve puzzles using different sorts of gravity manipulation. In Rochard, you get a G-Lifter, which is upgradeable as you play through the levels.

Recoil Games is a Finnish based game developer. The founder, Samuli Syavhuoko commented that they are 'incredibly excited' about bringing the game to the PC because "it's a natural fit for gamers across consoles as well as on PC".

Rochards humour is very well integrated with the overall puzzle solving nature of the game and is a good addition to Steam.
