The wait to play PlanetSide 2 is almost over folks, as Sony Online Entertainment announced that it will finally be launching next month.

That’s right folks, this free-to-play online shooter for your PC is almost here.  What do I mean by almost?  November 20^th.  Now you will only have to wait one more month to get your hands on PlanetSide 2, which was originally announced all the way back in July of last year.

PlanetSide 2 will run on the Forgelight Engine and is the sequel to the original subscription-based shooter that hit the scene in 2003.  The original title centered on the New Conglomerate, Terran Republic, and Vanu Sovereignty factions that battled each other on the planet Auraxis, and PlanetSide 2 will supposedly be a reimagining of the original.  PlanetSide 2 players can look forward to ranking up levels and mastering different vehicles and weapons during battle.
