Yep, a new Slender game is in the works.  If you think I’m talking about a thinner game or have no effing clue what Slender is, keep reading.

The original Slender by Parsec Productions offered a rather simple premise: you find yourself in the middle of a forest when its dark as hell, and you task is to somehow find eight pages that are scattered in different spots.  You must do this while listening to a spooky soundtrack, giving you a setting that can produce goosebumps, especially if you like to play in the dark.

So, while the original Slender sounds interesting enough, a new version is coming out for the PC in the next few months that is supposed to be even better, called Slender: The Arrival.  Parsec Productions is collaborating with Blue Isle Studios on the project to give the next Slender an actual storyline, more levels, and better graphics.

I never heard of the game before, but I gotta say, it has piqued my interest.  Have you played the original Slender?  Did you enjoy it?
