THQ has just released five new screens for the upcoming GSC Game World-developed FPS game for the PC, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

Hands down one of the most highly-anticipated PC titles to be released this year, Shadow of Chernobyl boasts of detailed character models, realistic physics simulation, and skeleton-based animation (among many others) which make character motion smooth and realistic. And I dunno about you guys but when I saw the What Lies Within trailer, I was immediately convinced that not only will the game's graphics be absolutely stunning, the game's storyline rocks as well. And that's one combination we rarely see nowadays, yes?

So anyhoo, to give you a more visual idea of just how fantabulous this game looks, here are even more screens to temporarily satiate those stalking appetites bottled up inside you. Enjoy!
