Sandlot Games Corporation announced the release of Westward, a unique PC game that combines real time strategy and simulation.

In Westward, players are transported back to the wild, wild days of the gold rush where adventure, untold fortune and outlaws lurk around every turn. They control the destiny of three new settlements as they transform from dust-and-tumbleweed stops to prosperous boomtowns.

And they weren't kidding when they say a cowboy's work is never done. There are uncharted territories to be explored, a variety of resources to be managed, and natural disasters to deal with as they guide the town and the town people to safety and success. Meanwhile they must chase a con artist extraordinaire Mad Russian and bring him withing the reach of the long arm of the law.

Westward (US$ 19.00) game features include:
  • More than 10 playable main characters
  • Over 25 buildings to customize your town and support an ever-expanding population
  • Buy, sell and trade a variety of resources
  • More than 20 levels of increasingly challenging frontier fun
  • Evolving and ever-changing scenarios provide many hours of playing fun
  • Hilarious dialogue
  • Stunningly original graphics
  • Engaging storyline
