I think, without exaggerating, that The Elder Scrolls Online is probably the most anticipated MMO in the games industry. The immense potential of turning the deep Elder Scrolls universe into a massively multiplayer game is simply too much to ignore, and everyone is watching the game with high expectations.

Bethesda has been mostly mum on the subject so far, but this morning released an awesome six-minute trailer for you to peruse. The company also announced that TESO is going into beta relatively soon, and opened sign-ups to all comers.

Stay tuned for more—TESO is due in 2013 so Bethesda likely has a few more surprises up its sleeve in the winter and spring months.
