Of all the games hitting shelves in 2013 (that I am currently aware of), SimCity is probably my most anticipated title. I’ve loved the series since I was but a wee lad, and this newest version of the game certainly seems like the update we’ve all been waiting for. There are some things I don’t like (the fact that it can’t be played offline, for one), but overall I think I’m onboard.

simcity2

Even more so after watching this short “Introduction” trailer:

Isn’t it pretty? Don’t you want to build yourself a city and then live there? Can't you imagine your tiny sims running around town, picking up groceries and dropping the kids off at school? Assuming, of course, that you’re not the type who builds cities only to destroy them with fire, earthquakes and monsters. You bastard.

Look for SimCity March 8. Hooray!

Seems pretty boring to me.. whats new? New buildings and updated graphics? You dont really get to do anything with these games. If it was intergrated with the actual Sims games then I'd understand the hype. Sims is missing the city builder thing and SimCity is missing everything Sims has. Why build a city if you dont get to live in it?
