The Crysis series has long been the industry leader when it comes to PC graphics. The old “but does it play Crysis” joke has become an integral part of the gaming lexicon, and each new iteration of the franchise pushes visual technology further beyond anything see before.

Crysis 3 doesn’t look like it’s going to be an exception to this rule:

I’m not a game designer, so I don’t really understand what a lot of the things mentioned in that trailer actually mean. But what I can tell you, as a game player, is that the game looks very, very pretty. I mean, if that game were a girl, I would take it to the movies.

Crysis 3 is still a ways from release, but we loving PC gamers are all chomping at the bit to get a taste.
