The San Diego Comic-Con has grown to be one of the biggest gatherings for those of us who like pressing buttons to make the people on the screen do things we can't, so Bethesda took the opportunity to show off their latest and biggest upcoming role playing game during the yearly gathering. Check out the Skyrim gameplay footage shown at Comic-Con below.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is currently slated for release on November 11 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Among the many features confirmed for the game are weather effects, a Dunmer-dedicated city, unscripted dragon encounters, and a new gameplay mechanic where players use the draconic language to gain powerful skills.

Due to the game having "literally hundreds of hours of content depending on how much you explore," Bethesda has decided not to make a pre-release demo for it.
