Watch: The Best in US and Europe play CS:GO

Call of Duty, I mean Counter Strike Global Offensive is already being hyped up as the FPS to have in 2012 and we've got an hour's worth of footage from the cool guys at Intel where the US best players size up against Europe's best players.

While I haven't played it recently, I was a big fan of Counter-Strike back in the day. It's how I cut my teeth online gaming. Slapping down $3.50 to play for an hour and kill some "noobz" online and then hearing the cursing and jeering during tournament matches. I'm glad to see that Counter-Strike has expanded and will be mutiplatform. It just means more people to play and more people to kill to the average FPS player.

But it really could give a whole new name to the gaming community. Steam probably has the best of the bunch and them going into more console games, with proper developers, promotion and hopefully, players, is a future I look forward to.
