Have you played Amnesia: The Dark Descent? I’m going to assume you haven’t, since your reading this indicates that you haven’t gouged your eyes out in terror within the last few months. If you haven’t played Amnesia, now’s probably a good time to give it a look – assuming you enjoy screaming, crying and sleeping with the lights on.

Frictional Games may not be done bringing the terror quite yet. Their teaser website, nextfrictionalgame.com, hints at the possibility of a new game in the Amnesia line-up. When you click the image, you are bounced to a map of China, which may be a clue as to the new game’s setting. Alternatively, it could all be bullshit engineered to create hype for whatever Frictional is about to roll out.

Whatever the game may be, you can bet it’s going to be scary and dark. Frictional hit it big with Amnesia, so there’s no reason to change to formula now. Besides, gamers love scary games – especially scary games that cause permanent damage to their psyches.

Would you play a sequel to Amnesia, or was the first one too scary for your delicate sensibilities?

Amnesia was one of my favourite games of 2010 and went I went back to play Frictional's previous Penumbra games, I couldn't help but want more Amnesia. (The game, that is)

A sequel would probably be the first day-one indie purchase of my life

I've seen HL2 mods that are scarier than Amnesia.

Anyway, would love to see a sequel.
