Wake Up, Save Money |

Alan Wake really got a nice burst of popularity when it finally got its PC port, and now it’s got another little reason to be under the spotlight; you can now pick up the game DRM free from GOG at the discounted price of $14.99, matching the Steam price of the game. Also in the same vein as Steam, is the offer of preordering the game for $13.49. Not bad, GOG, especially considering that if you pick up both at the same time, then the latter is dropped even further down to $11.24, which is pretty damn neat for a brand new, DRM free title.

I’m hoping the games get some more attention, as psychological thriller/horror/straight up dark games need more attention these days, especially on the PC platform.
Alan Wake is a game that has slowly but surely stood its own minor test of time, and that’s all the more reason for you to check out this spooky gem.
