Prominent video game staff members are set to discuss this huge elephant squashing the profits of giant games like Activision-Blizzard’s World Of Warcraft and Call Of Duty in San Francisco this weekend.
Smaller video game companies are especially hard hit from the ever increasing amount of users to application gaming. Just to survive many are finding that they have to lean heavily on ad sales and begin partnering with mammoth companies like Zynga to just stay on the radar.
Also to be discussed at the conference are software players jockeying for position in the online and mobile gaming platforms, with household and business favorite phones like the Blackberry focusing time and energy to stay on the right side of the on-line gaming curve.
