The update, otehrwise known as 1.2.1, brings in fixes for the launch issues that came along with the previously released patch. Apart from this, however, the devs have yet to release an official changelog.
It's going to be available as an automatic download, so be sure you have some 79MB free space on your harddrive before you log in to your Steam client the next time around.
Another thing to look forward to is the Bloodbath Arena DLC, which has now been given a new release window for November, to give the devs more time to fix up whatever it is that needs fixing. We'll keep you posted on more details on that as they come.

I played the game and got a lvl 37 charracter i want to make it a lvl 50 charr but when you play the game on 2nd playthrough you get the same problem i had with Borderlands, you only see other people within that CHAPTER not what Qeust it is playin (verru anoiying) and you cant see the other players lvl..... so i'm playing with lvl 8 or 5 people al the time with mij lvl 37 charr that SUCKS give me ppl mij lvl and let me SEE what lvl they have before joining pls!!!
