Tibia celebrates birthday with new client |

CipSoft announced today that Tibia, their long-running MMO, has celebrated its 14th birthday with a new client.
For its 14th birthday, CipSoft will be updating the client for Tibia, taking it into the world of flash-based browser games. The closed-beta for the new flash client started today.
"The flash version is not just a copy of the existing client. Many new features have been added in order to increase the client's functionality. The GUI of the new flash client is completely customizable in order to meet the players' likes and demands. Each and every panel (i.e. inventory, VIP-list, hotkeys, ...) can be arranged and placed wherever it fits best. Additional features like alternate armour sets, HUD display and action buttons have also been included to the new flash client," read the PR statement.
"The new flash client does not only guarantee a new gaming experience for our players, it offers a lot of new possibilities for us as well" explains Andreas Weikl, Marketing & PR Manager of CipSoft. "The browsergames market is already huge and we don't expect its present growth to slow down in the near future."
