I’m a big sucker for spending stupid money on videogame goods. The more extravagant, the more likely I am to get it. And if I was a Guild Wars fan, then there’d be no question with this one.

This Guild Wars 2 Collector’s Edition comes at a hefty $150, but there is more than meets the eye (and looking at the picture, a lot meets the eye!), as you also get access to all beta events leading up to the game’s release, and a 3 day head start on the game, playing before all your friends. Unless they bought special editions too.

If you pre-order through retailers other than NCsoft, though, you only get a 24-hour head start, but that’s still better than nothing. The other, smaller special edition, is a digital affair with digital goodies and comes in at $69.99. But that doesn't come with all the shizzle in the picture, which includes bloody fine art prints.

Now if only Metal Gear Solid or Zelda did this.
