Polish developer CD Projekt Red has released a video, showing off the new features and enhancements that will be inluded in next update of their hit PC title, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

The Witcher 2 v2.0 walkthrough

Slated to go live on on September 29th, patch 2.0 will include a new tutorial system, a special difficulty setting, some new items, and an entirely new arcade style arena mode. It also includes more than 40 new technical and gameplay enhancements, making it the most polished and definitive edition of the game since the original release.

If you still haven't picked up the game yet, a special digital sales promotions is now available through Steam and CD Projekt Red sister company GoG.com. Beginning today, you can pick up the game for only US$ 29.99 on Steam until October 6th. A DRM-free version of the game will be available on GoG.com on the 29th for the same price, until October 6th as well. An Xbox 360 version of the game is also in the works, and will include all the changes in version 2.0, but it won't be out until next year.
