The Witcher 2 demo coming to Gaikai

Gamers connected to Gaikai's cloud streaming service will soon be able to run a demo of CD Pojekt's action RPG, The Witcher 2. According to the announcement from Gaikai, the demo will launch this month via selected Affiliate sites.

The Witcher 2 once again puts players in the shoes of a "Witcher", a warrior trained to fight since childhood, subjected to mutations and trials that transformed him. The game features a nonlinear story where players' choices profoundly impact what happens next. A revamped combat system includes numerous tactical options, new weapons and combat elements, and advanced monster fighting techniques.

"Gaikai's streaming service will allow us to bring The Witcher 2 to an impatient and increasingly connected audience," said CD Projekt RED's Michal Nowakowski. "Gaikai's Affiliate Network of game industry sites will allow millions of gamers all over the world to play and share the game like never before."

Gaikai's innovative cloud streaming service will be utilized to power The Witcher 2 along with games from announced publishers such as Electronic Arts and Capcom.
