The Rock wants a piece of Call of Duty movie

Although Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson did come back to the WWE ring last night to host the Wrestlemania, that does not mean he's turning his back from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. His plans are far from that, apparently, as evidenced by this interview wherein he revealed that he wants to get in on the Call of Duty movie.

Sitting down with MTV, The Rock was asked if there's any video game-movie adaptation he'd want to be in. Without batting an eyelash, he said, "Black Ops [is] badass. Let's make it happen!"

Okay, granted, his movie resume isn't exactly thrilling - although you might say it is thrilling for all the wrong reasons - I can picture him in this movie... somewhat.

Just try to block out memories of his "acting" in the Doom movie, and the fairy wings from Tooth Fairy, and he should be all set, don't you think?

A film about Call of Duty? It's enough as it is there are shitloads of CoD games out there already.

I don't think Kotick would even like the idea of spending money on a film which would fail.

Yay. Let's adapt a game that itself was effectively a Michael Bay movie adaption into yet another movie.

Then maybe one day we'll adapt that into a game...

...and in a thousand years time, it'll be like the holy Bible. :-?

Whast wrong with this author?? he is aware that the vast majority of the rocks movies have been commercial success's. with the exception of Doom & southland tales, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS MOVIE HAS MADE A PROFIT (yes even faster has made a 7 mil profit) so i don't know what you guys are talking about. The Rock is an bankable actor.

acting in a profitable movie, doesnt make you a good actor

heck it doesnt even mean a good movie, simply good marketing
a trilogy or series would be better proof

It doesn't matter. the fact that out of 18 movies, only 2 failed to break even. if thats just chalked up to good marketing or luck than he must be the luckiest man in the world. end of the day The rock has proven himself to be an excellent and bankable actor and no longer needs to prove his acting chops to no one.
