Surprise! Something Else is Broken in Diablo III! |

So, Diablo III has this thing called “Hardcore” mode. If you’re not familiar with this particular game setting in Diablo, here’s the basic gist: In Hardcore mode, if your character dies, he or she is gone for good. In other words, death is permanent. So, as you can imagine, Diablo III fans take the balancing of this particular mode quite seriously—especially since the loot from this mode can be sold for real-money dollars.

Unfortunately for those fans, it looks like a few dedicated and crafty Diablo III players have found an exploit that effectively allows them to make their characters invincible. When playing as the Wizard class, there is apparently a spell sequence that makes your character completely invulnerable to damage as well as certain status limiting effects.
In other words, if you roll a Wizard and cast these spells, you can coast through Hardcore mode and get yourself some phat, phat lewtz—all with no risk to your character.
Blizzard has remained mum on the subject so far (beyond acknowledging the bug report), but is removing the offending spell sequence from forum posts. But hey, how much fun is that?
