Steam offers Pre-Purchase Borderlands Four Pack

It's not only GameStop that's offering you something for pre-ordering Borderlands. Steam also has an ace up its sleeves -- actually, make that four.

If you head to Steam's official site right now, you'll see that they're offering a Pre-Purchase Borderlands Four Pack. What's in here are actually four copies of the game - not really sure why you'd want to get four all by yourself, but we're assuming this was meant for groups of friends who'd all want to get a copy each at a discounted price.

The Four Pack is available for US$ 134.97 and will be out on October 26, 2009.

New standard.

This is the second game to get this treatment, most likely because of the cooperative play like L4D2. Paying $34 each with a bunch of friends is a great deal imo.
