StarCraft II - Image 1

Right before July, StarCraft fans launched an online petition asking Blizzard to bring LAN gameplay into StarCraft II after finding out that the publisher will not be incorporating the feature into the game in an attempt to prevent piracy. About a month later, the said online petition is now 100,000 signatures strong.

So they've got a hefty lot of folks supporting the online petition, but do we even know if it means anything at all to Blizzard? As for now, the publisher hasn't responded to the news, and neither do we know how much this online petition can turn the tide over to the fanbase.

It's nice to see people reacting....

..but they won't do anything. When it comes to customer support, they are pretty much the worsrt of all.

I agree partially.

Customer support and user feedback are two different things there customer support is fine but when it comes to implementing user content it will take a long time. look at WOW for instance so many people wanted lower level character mounts and it only took them 2 1/2 years.

No LAN, No Go.

If there isn't LAN play, then I can't see myself paying full retail price for it. I'll likely wait till its dirt cheap and buy it years later. Blizzard also takes forever to drop prices on their games.
