StarCraft 2 update: the Zerg's planet stronghold, Char |
Ó
This is the setting of one of the many planets players will get to see in Blizzard's upcoming StarCraft 2. The game's official website recently updated itself with an in-depth feature of the planet, along with a brief history of its role in the StarCraft universe.
The planet Char can probably best be remembered as the setting where Sarah Kerrigan (the Zerg Queen of Blades) emerged victorious after an apocalyptic battle between the Terrans, the Overmind cerebrates and the Protoss. This took place in the final expansion pack of the original StarCraft title, StarCraft: Brood War.
Since that time, the Zerg have been strangely quiescent. However, with the onset of the upcoming sequel, perhaps we shall hear more about Kerrigan and her fellow broodmates in future updates regarding the game. Keep yourselves tuned to this spot for more news and tidbits concerning Blizzard's StarCraft 2.
