Star Trek Your Way To The Bin, PvP |

Star Trek Online recently went free to play, and soon it might go free from PvP. That’s right, the PvP in the game is apparently so bad that no one is playing it, according to one of its developers over at Cryptic Studios.
Saying that it’s too bad to be left as it is, Dan Griffis goes on to say that, ‘something has to be done’ about PvP, and that if nothing is done to make it playable, then it should get scrapped altogether.

Why is he so adamant on change? Well, he is the only developer that’s working on the game’s PVP, so he’s probably trying to raise awareness to perhaps spark Cryptic into getting other developers in to help out so he doesn't feel responsible for the current state of things.
He does already have long term plans for specific changes, and notes that there will be smaller changes that seem out of place or stupid in the next year or so, but will make sense after his full vision is in place, and also saying that small complaints may not be addressed right away since they may be addressed or irrelevant in an already planned future update.
It’s good to see a man stand up for what he believes in, and here’s hoping his ideology spreads out onto other developers out there.
How do you find Star Trek Online’s PvP?
