OnLive has been one of the greatest inventions for gaming since the creation of high speed internet for gaming. The streaming game service will be available in the new year on the Android system. While it has already been released as an unofficial app for the service streaming will be available with more and more games in 2012.   OnLive was quite excited with the release and hoped other platforms would be taking it up soon.

In Australia, we don't really have the power or capacity for a high speed game streaming service. There are plenty of awesome games on the service but I have a reverse problem with streaming service. I'd purchase a game if it had replayability but from what I've heard from OnLive, I'd only really get it for a simple single-player service. Almost if it was a renting service, say pay $5 to 'rent' a game for a month.

OnLive will be coming to smart phones but will it work?

> Yep, 'cos the games are streamed via servers (cloud gaming), so all it needs from the gamer is high speed internet.

the service works (im using the xperia play anyway) the only thing that pissed me off was that the only game i was remotely interested in playing has a £39.99 price tag (Dirt 3) whereas i could just pick it up for half that on disc

it works but there are only a handful of games that work.

No actually, Truk is right. Quite a lot of games aren't available on OnLive because they simply don't work.
