sonicIt took quite a while for Sega to dish out the PC version of Sonic Riders, but it's finally here and rarin' to give fans an electrifying ride. Sonic and five new playable characters will show off their air board skills while speeding over 13 challenging courses in either single player or 2-player mode. And when we say challenging, we mean challenging. Fans of the Blue Blur who have played the game on consoles can attest to the difficulty of the game. But it's all part of the speed package. We do need a workout once in a while.

One of the main features of the Sonic Riders is "Turbulence" - using waves generated from other riders to boost one's speed. It's a great way to benefit from your opponent's moves. It can also be used as a moving half-pipe to perform death-defying aerial tricks while speeding past other players (my head spins just thinking about it).

Sonic Riders for the PC is available for US$ 19.95.

I played this ages ago on GC (thankfully on a hire), it's not really a very good game, it's fun for a little while, but when the wow i'm an airboarding sonic phase passes you'll drop it in favour of something better.
