Alan Wake is turning into a full-on franchise. With the success of the original game and it’s “not sequel” Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, it makes sense that Remedy Entertainment would be looking toward the future. And while speculation of a sequel in the works is certainly nothing new, it looks like fans now have something a little more concrete on which to hold.
Sam Lake, who you may recognize as the guy that penned Alan Wake, fired off this odd Tweet earlier today/yesterday:
That link, if you’re curious, goes to this weird blog which is no doubt the starting line for some sort of alternate-reality game—one that, like every other ARG, I’ll be happy to read about but simply do not have the time or patience to participate in. The quote is also apparently from Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, where it was hidden in a song. Backwards. Sheesh.
Anyway, the short version is that there’s probably another Alan Wake coming, set in the town of Ordinary. The long version starts at that blog—let us know how it goes.
