Skyrim Mods Get Downloaded 2 Million Times |
Listed in: News Tags: creation kit, skyrim mods, skyrim workshop
Last week I wrote about the official release of the Skyrim Creation Kit, allowing gamers to create their mods and share them with others. Well a week has gone by, and instead of a slow steady climb, you all hopped into the modding world of fun and 2 million downloads of Skyrim mods have been recorded for the week.

2,500 mods in total have been published, every single one of them free (as they should be).
Bethesda have struck gold with the title, as momentum isn't slowing down at all. The average player’s time is 75 hours, which is pretty damn impressive.
I remember a time when 60 hours was considered a lot of time to put into a game, but for a game to have an average of 75? I think I might delve back in to the world soon and become ‘average’.

What I can say, is that the most time I have put into a game (that was logged by the game at least) was Pokémon Leaf Green, on the GBA SP.
Was at 278 hours...mmm.
