World in Conflict - box art - Image 1Attention soldiers! Sierra Entertainment has just deployed its World in Conflict Beta Event and you're all invited.

World in Conflict is a real-time strategy game set in an alternate history where the Berlin Wall never fell. Soviets got desperate and launched attacks against the rest of Europe and the U.S. You can just imagine how ugly that would have looked. Well, we'll be getting a bit of a taste of that action in the beta test of the said video game. The World in Conflict beta features a number of game modes and multiplayer maps.

All you need to do is download the World in Conflict beta client and register for a CD-Key. Plus, the guys who pre-ordered the game - both standard and collector's editions - will be able to get an extra for the beta: an exclusive bonus map. Anyway, the beta test will run until July 31 so you better get a move on and sign up. For more info about the beta test, feel free to click the Read link below.
