Say Good Bye to The Family Guy MMO That Never Was

Family Guy Online is closing its doors January 18 and it could be all over for this MMO that never really was.  Unfortunately for this interactive micro transactional MMO wanna be the servers shut down before it ever even made it out of its beta stage.  This shattered the hopes and dreams of all of the Family Guy super fans who have been itching at a chance to create their own character and wander the streets of Quahog to interact with all of their favorite characters.

There is some good news though, if you did play Family Guy Online and spent some of your own hard earned cash in the game as part of its micro-transaction options between October 22 and December 21 then you will be entitled to a refund when everything comes to an end in January.  So don’t feel to slighted.

I tried it, considering the graphics used the system requirements were ridiculously high. Worst part is they did not know how to balance combat between players and monsters. They made Stewie a very hard player to play after a while in beta and I found him fun to play. Nerfing players to make combat harder with out balancing the enemies as well made me leave after a while. The stewie character got to the point where even with help he was to weak to play any more. I found my experience after a while was to start disliking the game. I enjoyed it at first but after a few patches I really started to dislike the direction they were taking combat in the game.
