No judgment in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Bethesda has confirmed that yes, there will be same-sex marriages in the game, if that's what you wish to do.

The confirmation was made via Pete Hines on his Twitter acount, upon replying to an inquiry regarding the matter.

Said fan Jadis232, "@DCDeacon Nice interview! Is same sex marriage in Skyrim? I know the option to get married to ppl is in. The subject seems like hush hush."

To this, Hines replied, "@Jadis232 Not hush hush, just not making a huge deal out of it. You can marry anyone." He then went on to quickly clarify, however, that animals are not included in the "anyone" bit of the statement. No bestiality for you guys here. "Sorry, should clarify. Not any NPC, just meany any male or female. Doesn't matter what you're playing."

Bethesda recently asked fans to help them work out a character for Skyrim, giving them the opportunity to design a new one. The game's also been confirmed to utilize Steamworks for the PC.
