Firaxis is known by many as the king of strategy, and this reputation largely comes from the immense success that is the Civilization franchise. Civ V is no different, receiving excellent reviews and fairly nice sales for the niche. And even though the game came out in 2010, Firaxis is still working on new content.

Civilization V: Gods & Kings is the game’s latest expansion pack. Gods & Kings adds new elements to Civ V, such as espionage and religion, not to mention new leaders, new societies, new units and new tech. Both espionage and religion have been featured in previous Civilization games, but were left out of Civ V in the hopes of making the game a little more straightforward.

If you’re ready to get your ten commandments on, Gods & Kings will be available for download on June 19 in the US and June 22 everywhere else. Firaxis hasn’t released any pricing information as of yet, but it’s DLC--$10 sounds about right.
