Chris Redfield and his beloved guns will be gracing PC monitors in North America and Europe this September. If you've got the equipment, you can even see him and Sheva shoot some zombies up in glorious 3D.

Gamers can pick up Resident Evil 5's PC version in the US on September 14 and in Eruopean territories on September 18. The later release date has given Capcom some time to throw in a few enhancements such as higher resolutions, new costumes (see pic above), and a "new and improved mercenaries mode with three times as many enemies."

The game will also be able to experience the zombie-infested Kijuju and all of the game's cutscenes in stereoscopic 3D thanks to Nvidia's GeForce 3D Vision technology. You'll have to drop some extra cash for the wireless 3D Vision glasses though. Those are sold separately/.

Resident Evil 5 is also available on Xbox 360 and PS3.

» Make it better than the RE4 port please.

Hopefully they'll make a good port of the game, unlike what they did with Resident Evil 4.
