Portal 2 leaked to torrents |

Reports are coming in that various torrent sites are already hosting both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the much-anticipated title.
Needless to say, Valve wouldn't be all too happy to find out about this. If you happen to be one of those people who managed to download the game already, it would be prudent not to log on to Steam yet with your PS3 copies. Justice will be swift and the thud of the banhammer is sure to echo from the walls within.
Portal 2 wasn't supposed to open up its portal to the gaming world until April 19th, 2011.

I wouldn't imagine it would be long before someone makes a crack to get Portal 2 running on PS3 3.55, similar thing happened with Dragon Age 2.

Looks like it might use the new XGD3 disc format though...

Its funny how 360 has been complaining about not getting the demo, but now we get the FULL game before PS3 does. Take that Sony!

EVERY game gets a torrent and its usually at least a week before its in the shelves.
Go and download it. It doesn't make you a pirate to get it now as its not on the shelves yet so you cant buy it in the shops anyway.
When it comes out in the shops then go buy it and your not a pirate anymore, you now have a backup of it and thats perfectly legal.

It's actually better. I've actually went and brought a few games coz I got to play it before it was in the shops.
If I'm unsure about a game I wont buy it, I'll either download it or rent it. As its not in the shops I cant rent it and as its available to download then thats probably what I'll do. If it's good I'll go buy it when it does come out. If its crap then no loss as I wasn't going to buy it anyway. All that has been lost is the $6 to the game rental shop, the dev never saw my money anyway so how is the dev losing?
If they made a game worth buying then they would get my money.
