After getting acquired by JoWood Productions Software, DreamCatcher enlisted the aid of Homegrown games to work on a new baby, a new Painkiller. It's for real - the 2004 FPS hit Painkiller is gonna get resurrected. Bluntly enough, the new game will be called Painkiller: Resurrection.

Painkiller: Resurrection is expected to have more single player storyline than its predecessors. You will play the role of a CIA assassion who gets caught in the middle of the battle of Heaven and Hell. How he wound up there should make a pretty funny story. But we do know now that we can expect more enemies, an enhanced Painkiller engine, and for the first time for the franchise, multiplayer co-op.

yeeeaaaahh, buddy!

FYI PK was awesome. great graphics, hard levels, original music. it was like serious sam, except not all cartoony. the music was sick, like shadows fall w/o vocals. me and my friends used to play this on the hardest difficulty and own. hope its for ps3
