EA Games have been around for almost three decades and their movement into a content delivery system, a lá Steam, has proved to be an interesting and so far, underwhelming, success. The content provided by EA Games has ranged from the incredible heights of The Sims all the way to the clunky but critically praised release of Battlefield, but it looks like Warner Bros is taking up shop with them.

That's right for you Arkham City fans still holding out for a PC Master Race release, you can do so via Steam. Also on the books is Capcom, so any time you need a Street Fighter or MegaMan fix, Origin might be your man. Also is THQ...Wow, so you could be playing Saints Row 2 or 3 in the near future on Origin.

Whilst EA only really has it's own games going for them as a few of those game companies already fall under the Valve-held banner but EA has their head held high. "Since launch, we've had overwhelming support from both publishers and developers across the gaming industry, recognizing Origin as an opportunity to deliver more of their great content straight to consumers across the globe," said Origin Senior VP David DeMartini.

If you have Steam on your system, other than maybe BF3 would you be willing to get EA's Origin service?

They can't even write a proper EULA.
That thing is far from valid in germany. Some things in there are outright illegal.

I have liked EA's recent outings have been good but Origin just feels like a knee-jerk reaction and it's hard to take them seriously. I don't think I'll use Origin unless I buy BF3 for PC.
