Another day, another flood of Ouya news. Despite the wariness of critics, it appears as though the Ouya is almost certainly going to happen. How do we know? Mostly because of the mountains of third-party support the device seems to be corralling.

Here’s some new developments: XBMC has confirmed that their media application will be tailored for the Ouya upon release. Additionally, TuneIn, the broadcasting app that allows people to listen to music and other audio from global channels, will launch with the device. 

All in all, it looks like Ouya is shaping up to be quite the robust device. Of course, it’s worth noting that few if any game developers that don’t already have some sort of Android product on the market have come to Ouya’s side, begging the question of whether anything the Ouya gets will actually be considered “exclusive.”

Whatever your opinion, Ouya’s Kickstarter is steaming along: The device currently sits at around $7 million raised and has 35 hours of fundraising to go.
