In the Forgotten Realms on the continent Faerun, Baldur's Gate fans took delight in guiding their hero through the travails and pitfalls of The Sword Coast region. Garnering, critical acclaim during its original release, BioWare is hoping they can catch lightning in a bottle twice this September with a newer enhanced version of the original Baldur's Gate for Windows PC.

Baldur's Gate fans can expect much more detailed and pristine graphics thanks to the upgrade of The Infinity Engine as they gallop along through the entire original game as well as the Tales Of The Sword expansion pack. It will also include some brand new material, The Black Pit, to go along with new characters. These characters also come along with a wider range of voice characterization and of course vast improvements with mulit-player mode.
Set for release on September 18 for Windows PC, Baldur’s Gate will also be released for the iPad and the Mac OS, and Android tablets.
